This mattress is addictive!, March 17, 2011 By This review is from: 12'' Therapeutic Pressure Relief Memory Foam Mattress - Full When I walk in the bedroom, I just want to lay on this mattress because it's so damn comfortable! I am 62 and about 200 pounds. When I lay on my side, the hip can start to hurt - but not on this mattress! It's as soft as a baby's butt! I made my own bed frame out of 2x6's and 2x4's. This mattress rests on a frame that could well support a thousand pounds. The pair are totally silent. I have not tired it, but I'd bet nickles to hot dogs that if I jumped up and down on it for 5 minutes, no one could hear a sound in the house except me wheezing and coughing for air. I love the experience of comfort and quiet. I would tell you that it does not smell; but sadly, I have no sense of smell at all - so it's quite possible it stinks to high heaven, so do your due diligence if you are a smell freak. This is, the best mattress I've ever had... and I had a box spring set that cost thousands... and was a pain to carry up stairs. This thing weighs about a hundred pounds... but is easy to... However, I love this mattress as much now as I did the first night I got it. If you've never slept on memory foam, it takes a little getting used to, since it conforms to your body in a way normal mattresses don't. However, that also means that it very well accepts your weight and shapes to your contour, removing pressure from sore spots.
If you have back problems, this is great for relieving said stress. There have been times my back has acted up and I have simply laid down for 30 minutes and noted a substantial improvement. A full night's sleep is easy for me now, as I have yet to find a position I can't comfortably sleep in. It is even comfortable to sit and read a book on, or work on a laptop, as it conforms even when you sit upright. It also allows for easy movement of one's partner without disturbing you, an added bonus I hadn't seen advertised... Read more
